What do I need to open a current account and which services are then at my disposal?

You can open Intesa Hit current account with your identity card, coming to the nearest branch of Banca Intesa. The use of this account provides you with numerous benefits such as a more favourable euro exchange rate, American Express Blue or MasterCard credit cards, with no membership fee charged, overdraft, On-line banking, SMS information, checks, additional health insurance. If you want, you can open a standing order, by means of which the Bank every month directly from your current account transfer funds and without commission pays your monthly bills for electricity, telephone, utilities. My card expires this month. Do I need to apply again for the new one?

If you do not cancel the card 60 days before the expiry date at the latest it is automatically renewed. The card is valid until the last day of the month indicated on the card as the expiry date.

I am currently abroad. How can I pay in money to the foreign currency account with your bank?

The transfer of funds from abroad to an account with our bank can be executed by means of banking order, using a loro remittance. As a sender you need the instruction for transfer of funds in a particular currency, with all the necessary data. The instruction can be taken over in the nearest branch of our bank or via e-mail if you send the information on the currency in which the transfer is going to be executed, as well as the JMBG of the person you are sending the funds to, who has an open foreign currency account with our bank.

How can I send money abroad?

The transfer of funds abroad can be executed by means of nostro remittance – banking order used for the transfer of funds abroad. You fill in the order in a branch on the basis of the payment instruction, i.e. an invoice, if you are paying for some goods or services abroad. The commission for this kind of service is 0.6%, minimum 400 dinars per remittance (outflow by means of nostro remittance – Kosovo and Metohija 0,8%, minimum 500 dinars). If you wish to pay the expenses of the foreign bank too, you should provide the amount of 30 EUR on your account for the expenses of the foreign bank. If you pay for goods and services on the basis of invoice, you should reserve the amount of 30 EUR for the foreign expenses. You should have an open foreign currency account to place on it the money you are sending. You can open the foreign currency account in the nearest branch of the Bank. The opening of this account is free of charge and there are no maintenance costs.

Who can pay in the money to my foreign currency account?

According to the Law on foreign currency operations that came into force on 27th July 2006, these payments in an effective foreign currency can be executed only by the owner or an authorised person per account, or per booklet. A natural person can issue an authorization outside the Bank. In the country, the authorization should be certified by an authorized institution – court or municipality, and abroad by the consulate of the Republic of Serbia or a notary. If the account’s owner is in Belgrade, the authorization is executed by coming to the Bank’s counter together with the persons the account’s owner wants to authorize.

Can I apply for the loan with your bank although I don’t have an open current account with your bank?

Although you do not receive your salary through the account in our bank, you can apply for Laki keš loan (Laki keš in dinars and Laki keš in EUR).

It is required that you are the citizen of the Republic of Serbia and the resident with residence on the territory where the Republic of Serbia has a full state authority. At the moment of credit approval you need to be at least 20 years of age, while at the moment of final credit pay off you should not be more than 68 years of age. If you are employed, you should be permanently employed at least 2 months with the current employer. Your minimum monthly salary cannot be lower than 8,500 dinars.

For Laki keš loan approval all you need is the identity card.

After that you need to prepare the following documents and bring them on the date of loan realization:

  • If you are employed – Salary Certificate with the amount of salary
  • If you are self-employed – Income Tax Clearance Certificate with the tax base, and the photocopy of Income Tax Decision (original for consideration)
  • If you are retired – last pension check


In order to confirm your personal data you should bring health-insurance card, passport or driving licence. In order to confirm your place of residence you need one of the last month’s bills for: electricity, telephone or utilities. As an additional source of income, with the aim of increasing your credit solvency, rent income can be taken into consideration, proved by a Rent Agreement, certified in court and concluded for the period of minimum 6 following months. Your credit solvency is determined in such a way that the amount of annuity for the loan repayment (including principal and interest) can be maximum:

  • In the amount of 30% of your net salary reduced by your monthly liabilities against loans, financial leasing, cards, as well as other monthly obligations, except for mortgage loans liabilities.
  • In the amount of 50% of your net salary reduced by your monthly liabilities against loans, financial leasing, cards, as well as other monthly liabilities, except for mortgage loans liabilities.

I have income, but on the basis of author’s fee. Can I apply for a loan with your bank?

If you do not have a regular monthly income on the basis of salary, you can apply for cash loan on the basis of 100% foreign currency down payment or on the basis of depositing of bonds on foreign currency savings.

I have an open current account with your bank and I am interested in the loan for car purchase. Which loan could I take out for this purpose?

Among the loan offer in our bank there are loan models for purchase of used and new cars. Also, there is a special offer if you wish to buy a car from the offer of Delta M – Delta auto. For used cars the loan repayment period and the car age together cannot exceed 12 years (144 months).

Which are the basic conditions required in order to apply for a mortgage loan with your bank?

The Bank has several mortgage loan models, which differ from one another with respect to interest rates, amounts of down payment, repayment periods (up to 30 years) etc..

  • All loan participants must fulfil the following eliminating conditions:
  • Loan beneficiaries, co-debtors and guarantors must be citizens of the Republic of Serbia (without Kosovo and Metohija), residents with residence on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
  • Age limit at the moment of loan application is minimum 20 years of age (23 for loans insured with the National Mortgage Insurance Corporation). Age limit at the moment of final loan pay off is 65 years of age.
  • Permanent employment, and for loans insured with the National Mortgage Cooperation at least 6 months on the current workplace.
  • A minimum monthly salary of loan beneficiary cannot be lower than 45.000 RSD, of the beneficiary and one co-debtor together 45.000 RSD.
  • Open current account with Banca Intesa Beograd for salary payments (only for the loan beneficiary).
  • No more than two co-debtors can be accepted per one loan request, except for loans insured with the National Corporation, where no more than one co-debtor can be accepted.

Credit solvency of loan beneficiary is determined in such a way that the amount of annuity for mortgage loan repayments cannot exceed 50% of beneficiary’s net salary reduced by other liabilities, that is, 50% of joint net income of the beneficiary and co-debtors reduced by other liabilities.
